For most people the loss of health is a gradual process. Our symptoms are slowly woven into the fabric of our lives until they cause us to do less and less as we age. Eventually, our greatest values are challenged and poor health becomes in the forefront of our lives sparking the desire for a drastic intervention; usually a trip to visit the doctor.

In the spirit of the upcoming holidays and New Year I’d like to inject a more optimistic approach. Let’s take a closer look at 10 Warning Signs of GREAT HEALTH!

  1. An increased awareness and appreciation of yourself.
  2. A tendency to set aside time each day to relax or meditate.
  3. A persistent ability to maintain close relationships.
  4. A persistent ability to adapt to changing conditions.
  5. A chronic appetite for physical activity (and healthful food).
  6. Acute and chronic attacks of laughter.
  7. A compulsion to take pleasure and fun.
  8. Repeated bouts of hope and optimism.
  9. A chronic condition for caring for your body.
  10. Recurrent rejection or worry.
