For most people the loss of health is a gradual process. Our symptoms are slowly woven into the fabric of our lives until they cause us to do less and less as we age. Eventually, our greatest values are challenged and poor health becomes in the forefront of our lives sparking the desire for a drastic intervention; usually a trip to visit the doctor.
