I have been a certified trainer since 2006. As a former professional basketball player I can appreciate the work and dedication it takes to be healthy.  However, not everyone wants to be a professional athlete nor can train like one.  Running a strength-training program that caters to people of all ages, sizes and abilities is something I take great pride in.  Assisting clients with quality of life is why I'm in this business. This can be extremely challenging at times because most of us are dealing with some type of physical obstacle.  Having state of the art equipment that allows each position and range of motion to be manipulated creates an environment for safety, efficiency and success.  If risk factors and intimidation are removed from your workout routine the sky's the limit no matter what your age.

I have been training clients since 2011 and really enjoy empowering others through physical activity.  Between strength training, building clients endurance, and promoting great health, I am able to help my clients reach goals they can be proud of.  I am certified through the National Federation of Personal Trainers and have extensive knowledge in the field of senior exercise.  My certification with Stay Active and Independent for Life (SAIL), has helped me learn how to encourage seniors to have healthy lifestyles and better balance techniques.  Additionally, I am a high school basketball coach at a local private school.  I became a personal trainer to help people safely reach their fitness goals. I enjoy seeing my clients reach for and attain success they never thought was possible. Health and fitness is possible for everyone and I enjoy being part of that journey for those I get to interact with.

I am a fitness trainer, personal chef, and nutritional coach. In 2008, I attended Pierce College, graduating with an Associates degree in Diagnostic Health and Fitness. Since graduating, I have had the opportunity to work with a vast range of people. From young athletes to those facing physical obstacles. Working within the 20minute fitness principles, I believe every person can find success in this program; it is safe, effective, and efficient, with state of the art equipment that caters to an individual’s range of motion and skill set. Everyone's goals can be reached and exceeded. I am certified as a Health At Every Size facilitator (HAES). I offer both group and one-on-one nutritional coaching to help people find enjoyment, peace, and balance around food. HAES is structured as an 8 week program where we move toward a body listening approach around food and activity. As a personal chef, I can prepare meals for you and your family. I create the menu, shop for it, and prepare the dishes, leaving you to enjoy it! I like to get to know your style of cooking and listen to possible issues you have been facing. I have many resources in colleagues and like to research the healing properties of food. If you would like to learn how to cook or get your children involved, I encourage this as well. I am a graduate of Bastyr University, a naturopathic doctorate school; I received a Bachelor of Nutrition of Science and Culinary Arts. The program is whole foods based and teaches organic and sustainability as key ingredients to a healthy human and planet. I have gained a vast knowledge about allergies and food alternatives. I also have learned how foods and ingredients alter behavior and can exacerbate symptoms or disease. I am always looking to learn new ways to expand my knowledge to help myself and others.
